Hi there! I’m Kate and I’m an art director.
That’s me, right there. No, not the popsicle,
the one in the glasses.
I’m an art director, working in media marketing for over 8 years. I’ve designed websites, events, print and digital campaigns and premiums, and directed video shoots and photo shoots. I love making things bright and beautiful, cheerful and serious, and my favorite thing is revitalizing existing brands with a fresh new take.
While you’re here, I wanted to show you some of the things I’ve been working on the last few years:
I’ve concepted and executed designs for multiple events for Food & Wine Magazine (including Best New Chefs, Food & Wine Classic in Aspen), Adweek Magazine (including Adweek Abroad in Cannes, Adweek Elevate, Brand Genius, Arc Awards, Brand Stars), Blockstack and more. Event design includes initial concept, invitations and evites, promotional materials like display banners and eblasts, and follows through to presentation design, environmental design and collateral.
If you want something a little sweeter…
Earlier this year, I pitched an inspiration guide lookbook to Mondelēz International as a way to highlight their recipe development and content creation that wasn’t getting as much reach as their beautiful imagery and powerful insights deserved — and as COVID changed the way sales teams interact with their clients, innovation was needed.
As a 10-page interactive brochure with embedded gifs, videos and pop-up recipes, this inspiration guide also highlights the work I’ve done for Mondelēz: from art direction for photo and video shoots, to graphic design and implementation, to its very inception of solving problems with new platforms.
